Product Introduction

Product Features

(1) Fixed TMR feed preparation machines typically use three-phase motors as their power source. Electric drive is more energy-efficient and cost-effective.

(2) This model is suitable for placement in locations where various feedstuffs are stored relatively concentrated and easily accessed and transported. After processing and mixing various concentrates and roughages, the resulting Total Mixed Ration (TMR) is transported via a TMR spreader to the cattle sheds for feeding. This model is ideal for use in feed processing and distribution centers as well as dairy farms with narrow cattle shed aisles.

(3) The vertical fixed TMR feed preparation machine is powered by an electric motor or a diesel engine and features a special double-tube resistance crimping design with an overflow-proof spout, making overflow prevention more noticeable and more secure.

(4) Through mechanical transmission, power is transferred to the gearbox located beneath the auger of the equipment. The auger gearbox then drives the auger to rotate.

(5) As the auger rotates, the blades on the auger cut the long fibers, while the auger’s spiral vanes perform a downward-to-upward cyclical cutting and mixing action on the material.

(6) The R-series dual-reduction system features independent control, making it more energy-efficient and hassle-free. The star-type starting method effectively reduces damage to electrical components.

(7) Thickened chassis and specially processed resistance grooves—this tank design is a domestic first, offering enhanced wear resistance.

(8) Imported weighing is more accurate, with simpler and more convenient maintenance.

Maintenance of Vertical Total Mixed Ration Feed Preparation Machines

I. Reducer Maintenance:

For the new machine, replace the reducer lubricant every 3 months; thereafter, replace the reducer oil annually. Each reducer uses 24 kilograms of L-AN46 total-loss system oil.

II. Inspect the blade:

Check the wear condition of the moving blades on the tower core. If the blades are dull, immediately sharpen or replace them.

3. Bearing Lubrication:

The spindle bearing housing needs to be lubricated with grease once every half month. Note: The bearing oil passages are very narrow; if they remain unlubricated for an extended period, the oil inside will dry up, making it impossible to inject more grease later on.

IV. Hydraulic System Maintenance:

Regularly check whether the oil pipe fittings and fasteners are loose to prevent leaks and detachment. Replace approximately 6 liters of L-HV46 low-temperature anti-wear hydraulic oil annually. (In winter, ordinary hydraulic oil tends to freeze, and if the hydraulic oil freezes, the hydraulic pump will fail to operate.)

V. Special Attention:

Before starting work, briefly activate the switch and check whether the tower core’s rotation direction matches the indicated direction. If the rotation direction does not match the indication, reverse the connection sequence of the main power cables. Then, run the feed mixer at no load for 2–3 minutes to ensure that all equipment functions properly before beginning the feeding process. (If the rotation direction is reversed, the tower core may become jammed, potentially damaging the tower core blades or the gearbox. Pay special attention: Before restarting the machine after a power outage, be sure to confirm that the rotation direction is correct before adding feed.) Each shift, check that the gearbox oil reservoir for the tower core contains at least half a tank of oil. A low oil level in the reservoir could lead to damage of the gearbox.
